Refund Policy

Effective Date: 01/20/2025

Last Updated: 01/20/2025

This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which Florida State Filing LLC ('Florida State Filing,' 'we,' 'our,' or 'us') will issue refunds for services purchased through www.flstatefiling.com (the 'Site'). By ordering Services, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund Policy.

1. General Policy

All fees for Services are non-refundable once work has begun on your order, including but not limited to document preparation, compliance review, and submission to government agencies. Our fees are charged for the time, expertise, and effort required to process filings, not for guaranteed outcomes.

2. Non-Refundable Items

The following are strictly non-refundable:

  • Government Fees: State, federal, or third-party charges (e.g., Secretary of State fees, expedited processing fees).
  • Completed Services: Any filing, report, amendment, or document preparation already submitted or fulfilled.
  • Registered Agent Fees: Once service has been activated or designated with the state.
  • Expedited or Rush Orders: Due to the immediate nature of expedited work.
  • Annual Compliance Services: Including monitoring, reminders, or compliance alerts, once initiated.

3. Limited Refund Circumstances

Refunds may only be considered if:

  • An order has not yet been processed and no work has started.
  • A duplicate order was accidentally placed and confirmed by our team.
  • A technical error on our part prevented completion of the Service.

Refund requests meeting these conditions will be processed within 10–15 business days back to the original payment method.

4. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring:

  • All information provided for filings is accurate and complete.
  • You review all documents before submission.
  • You understand applicable filing deadlines and requirements.

Refunds will not be issued for customer errors, missed deadlines, or government rejection due to inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the customer.

5. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us is a violation of this Refund Policy. If a chargeback is filed:

  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate Services.
  • We may pursue collection of amounts owed, including costs, fees, and damages.
  • Continued non-payment may result in legal action.

6. Cancellations

  • Before Processing: If you cancel before we begin working on your order, you may be entitled to a partial refund (less administrative and payment processing fees).
  • After Processing: No cancellations or refunds are permitted once document preparation or filing has started.

7. Refund Procedure

To request a refund, you must:

  1. Contact us in writing at support@flstatefiling.com.
  2. Provide your order number, business name, and explanation for the request.
  3. Allow us up to 3 business days to review and confirm eligibility.

If approved, refunds will be issued to the original form of payment within 10–15 business days.
